Here is a great, cost effective way to roll tubeless right through the thorns. Here, I am using Easton EA70 UST Tubeless wheels and Python Light tires, but I have used the exact same process for "tubeless-ready" tires. This "standard Slime" solution probably also works good to auto-repair snakebite flats, but I don't roll low enough pressure any more to risk those, so I couldn't say for sure.
