Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the recent rulings in the matter of United States v. Harrison. In this matter, the Court has struck down 18 USC Sec. 922(g)(3) which prohibits the possession of firearms by anyone who is an addict or user of an unlawful substance. Since Federal law still defines marijuana in the same category as cocaine, heroin and methamphetamine, possession of a firearm, by ANY user of this substance is forbidden at all times. But since the holdings of Bruen were handed down last summer, we have seen many Courts take another look at many of these restrictive laws to see if there truly is a historical analogue that would justify their existence. That's what the Court did in this matter, and we see the results. Learn what all of this means to you and arm yourself with education today. SORRY FOR THE DELAY IN THIS VIDEO, but big brother had some issues with it for some reason before it could be posted. Thanks for your patience. United States v.
