Cut front and back pieces on folded fabric. 5. Cut lining using the same pattern. Cutting the Cape 1. Measure from neckline to desired cape length (elbow or knee level). 2. Draft a semi-circle or full circle cape using neck measurement ÷ 2π. 3. Cut one or two layers for fuller drape. Sewing Process 1. Sew darts/princess seams and join shoulder seams. 2.
