In this video we will discuss the X-Microwave proto platform and how to control it from an FPGA. The FMC bridge enables connectivity to any FPGA development environment which contains an mezzanine card connector (FMC), such as AMD (formerly Xilinx), Intel (formally Altera), or any custom boards which adheres to the FMC standard. We will cover the basic hardware setup of the ADRV9009-ZU11EG and its carrier board with an FMC connector. How to connect the FMC bridge to both the carrier board as well as the X-Microwave proto platform. Finally we will look at an example software program which controls an RF signal chain. Show you how to read the current parameters set in software and learn how to change those values so you can customize the setup for your specific application requirements.
