When I set out today I had no idea that the blackfish fishing was going to be this incredible. I expected that I might catch 2 or 3 freshwater blackfish if I was lucky, but to catch as many as I did was mindblowing. This uncut fishing video is just a snapshot of the great fishing that I experienced this evening. I just finished filming the introduction, where I explained that the blackfish bite best at night time, and then I threw my line in an hour before sunset and the blackfish fishing just went crazy. It reeally was a red hot bite. These blackfish are not very big. I can not do anything about that. The Big blackfish are mostly found in streams flowing south of the great dividing range. Here in northern flowing streams, a 30cm blackfish is a whopper. The largest blackfish that I caught today, I estimate to be around 25cm long which is not in this video. This blackfish fishing video is just a snippet, or a teaser for the main blackfish fishing video which I hope to have out in a few days time. As far as recreational fishing for blackfish goes, they are rarely targeted by anglers, most likely due to their small size. Me personally, I absolutely love fishing for blackfish.
