Friday Night Funkin was released in November 2020 and is beloved for its catchy music, quirky characters, vast modding scene and admittedly cringe and/or weird parts of the community. The story of Friday Night Funkin' follows the protagonist, Boyfriend, a blue-haired dumb guy tying to impress the Dad of his girlfriend, Girlfriend, so Boyfriend and Girlfriend can "get Freaky on a Friday Night (yeah)", if you know what I mean... The game is structured into weeks, with each week featuring a new opponent for Boyfriend to face off against, these usually include characters from Newgrounds, just like Pico or Darnell from Pico's school, Skid and Pump from Sr Pelo's Spooky month series, or Tankman - the maskot of the platform made by Tom Fulp. - - Sonic.exe - - - "Sonic.exe" is a creepypasta story that gained popularity on the internet, particularly among fans of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. The story revolves around a haunted or corrupted version of the Sonic the Hedgehog video game, known as "Sonic.exe." Said game appears to be a normal Sonic game at first, but as the player progresses, they encounter increasingly disturbing and unsettling elements. These include glitched graphics and encounters with twisted versions of Sonic's friends, such as Tails, Knuckles, and Dr. Robotnik. As the player continues to play Sonic.exe appears as a demonic version of Sonic. Sonic.exe is often depicted with blood-red eyes and a sinister grin, and he torments the player both in-game and through eerie messages that break the fourth wall.
