While Tera Online is a fantastic game there isn't a lot of guides easily available compared to other well known MMOs. So this video is to help aspiring priests who want to excel at their class. While Tera is an action based game this means that is does not feature generalized rotations of moves designed to optimize your tanking, healing, or dpsing abilities. Instead, Tera's combat is more like a priority system, with certain skills seeing more use based on the need. As such, a level 60 priest in Tera will follow this basic priority to optimize their effectiveness in group situations: Prior to Combat 1) Buffs, a priest has 5 buff skills and you want everyone in your group to have them. Preferably before combat starts, but if someone dies and is resurrected you will have to reapply them, sometimes during hard boss fights. If there is no time to reapply them all Blessing of Shakan is most important, followed by Blessing of Balder, then Blessing of Seren, Blessing of Zenobia, and least important Blessing of Arachne. 2) Grace of Resurrection, this is the group's last line of defense again a total wipe scenario. When the priest dies it will allow them to self resurrect with full HP, Mana, and Stamina. This should always be on your priest just in case. In Combat 1) Healing, no surprise the most important thing a priest can do in combat is to heal your teammates. The tank is your priority, but in Tera the dps classes will be taking decent amounts of damage as well. Always try to keep the team fully topped up in case the boss deals a big hit. 2) Support, the priest plays a significant support role in a group as well. As a priest you will be using Energy stars, Triple Nemesis, and Mana Charge, in that order of importance when not healing. 3) Resurrection, the priest is expected to resurrect fallen teammates if the worst should happen. Remember to rebuff them if time allows. 4) Purifying Circle, this is the priests cleanse skill and it will save the group from death in many situations. If someone has a purple colored health bar use this skill to remove any debuffs they have. Take note, some debuffs can not be removed so do not try to spam this skill if it does not work on someone the first time. 5) Protection, a priest has 3 skills to protect themselves or the team. Kaia's Shield will put a barrier that absorbs damage for a few seconds on the priest and nearby teammates, use it when big damage is expected to lessen the amount of healing you have to do. Guardian sanctuary will protect a priest from almost all debuffs and stuns so they can cleanse the rest of the group if needed. Lastly, Divine Respite is the priests emergency self heal which can heal through basically anything but a one shot for 10 seconds. 6) Plague of Exhaustion, this is the priests only debuff and DOT skill. Some fights require a properly timed debuff to make them easier and the added damage will help speed along the fight just a tiny bit. A few situational skills worth mentioning are: Arise, which will make the team stand back up after a knock down, Ishara's Lullaby, which will put the enemy to sleep for a few seconds should you need time to resurrect someone or regroup, and Prayer of Peace, which will remove all aggro from the priest if needed.
