On this episode of The Best Record Shops, I'll explore Jazz Messengers in Lisbon, Portugal. This is a shop with a stunning Jazz collection on both vinyl and CD. They have it all: every sub-genre, every name, every edition, and they have it in quantity. They also have box-sets and audiophile editions. New releases and reissues. There is also Portuguese and Brazilian music section with great records, as well as a Pop/Rock/Soul section where you'll find the best artists. Prices are very good for both vinyl and CD's. They do not sell second-hand media. It is great to find a record shop with such great taste. This is indeed a management who loves Jazz, and really cares about the quality of its collection.
