The Heart of Colorado - Sunset Scenic Drive to Grand Junction Through the Rockies

In this video we make a sunset scenic drive through the heart of Colorado across the Rocky Mountains to Grand Junction. We begin high in the Rockies in ski the town of Frisco and head west on Interstate 70, eventually reaching the awe inspiring views of Glenwood Canyon and Glenwood Springs where red rock starts to appear. It begins to rain as we enter De Beque Canyon and the sky turns bright orange as the sunset fast approaches, and we even see a double rainbow in the canyon. Our trip ends at sunset in the city of Grand Junction, nearing the Utah state line. This drive was filmed in early October and offers some brilliant fall colors in the mountains at the higher elevations.
