On lots of AMVs I watched over the week. Anime: Sengoku Basara. Inspired by the effect 00demi00 used in their "Sasuke & Naruto - Heartless" vid. I really like the sepia thing now... crap... that means you might be seeing it. A LOT. =_= aiya... Also tried to use other transitions aside from flash. I failed. And tried using stills to my advantage. I don't care if the quality in the stills isn't good Dx I always try to match video to lyrics as best I can, and at the same time attempt to match it to the beat of the song. Eeee... I guess this is a part of my style? Dunno, currently being too inspired by others to develop my own (D:) So you can read the rest of this if you're interested: •Nagamasa & Oichi - I felt the first verse of the song fit these two really well. Because to me the line "what if it makes the last sound be the very best sound" = someone dying. That and, everything Nagamasa did in the anime was for Oichi, so the chorus fits as well. The chorus fits almost TOO well... •Kenshin & Kasuga - first part of second verse is like, dead on to the scene in episode 9 where Nou hime disguises herself as a shinobi from Kai. I'm not 100% sure about Kasuga losing faith in Kenshin but it makes sense to me. And she really WAS questioning what was happening in the room; just look at her upset expression. And of course, the chorus. Kasuga is always all for Kenshin, and vice versa. If he didn't care about her so much he wouldn't have yanked her out of the way. •Sasuke & Kasuga - because he made her crash. And Kasuga was very lost and wishing for revenge and Sasuke didn't want her to get herself killed by still he understood what she wanted to do. So he let her go. I also really like their interactions and how he shows he really cares about her but doesn't make like, really obvious advances (darn you Sasuke you should just make an obvious one already). •Toshiie & Matsu - I love these two, so I mostly just wanted to include them in the vid =P Seriously though, they have the best relationship out of all the married couples haha! And they're the happiest too! Just look at them! •Nagamasa & Oichi - again, because I adore them. Yes I do. And I like the lines here, so who better to use then Nagamasa and Oichi? Especially since she doesn't let him go THE ENTIRE TIME MASAMUNE AND MITSUHIDE ARE FIGHTING. •Masamune & Oichi - with a little bit of Yukimura. I know you saw it coming. Come on, this is my favorite pairing in the entire series! Of course it's gonna' be in this vid. Also, the chorus as this point is a bit different, and says "then it's all my fault and let me fix it please" and since Ichi believes (and says) that everything is all her fault, I think this part fits for her. And for Masamune too. And hey, I know that Masamune isn't always all for Ichi because they met like, twice, but DAMN was he MAD at Nobunaga when she died. •Kojyuro and Masamune - I adore their father-son relationship, and I hate how it can get so butchered (yeahthatsrightBUTCHERED). Kojyuro really cares about Masamune, that and he's Masamune's right hand man//right eye so of course he's always all for Masamune, right? Plus, I like to think that Kojyuro is the one who raised Masamune himself since Masamune's mother didn't really seem to care about him in history... And the last scene is the last scene because I loved that scene. YAY FOR SUPER LONG DESCRIPTIONS HA HA! Dx
