I took a sleeper bus to Bangkok from Krabi for $22. Here is what happened... I'd say the value for money was pretty good. There were a couple of stops, and I even managed to get some food for free, and also snacks. There was a toilet on the bus, which is great. What I didn't like was that the seat was not really comfortable for sleeping, my backbone hurt again after the trip! And it took a little longer than expected.
