🇺🇲 United States M14A2 Tank Protective Mask dated the first week of November 1963 mold 2D9 lot 2021-55-27 by M-S-A size medium. The M14A2 tank mask was adopted by the US Military in 1962 as an improved model of the M14A1 Tank Protective Mask, with the M14A2 featuring a permanently affixed C11 Inner Oral-Nasal Cup Assembly, whereas the M14A1 would only utilize a horseshoe shaped deflector system. The M14A2 Mask features a solidly molded Black Natural rubber E56R4 facepiece with a glued in urethane eyepiece, a smooth, non textured inner surface, a C8R1 or C15 head harness, an M51/UR Carbon Microphone with Female Combat Vehicle Crewman Plug, an M6 Cotton Coated or M7 Nylon coated hose, an M10A2 (M10A1 without breathing coupling) canister with M9 filter sling, and an M13 or M13A1 carrier marked M14A2. The Class B Grey rubber C15 outlet cover on this mask is dated the first week of September 1953 by the General Tire and Rubber Company.
