Episode 4 of "What's It Like To Be You Right Now?" — the final chapter. If the earlier episodes explored what Circling is and how the practice works, this episode turns toward the deeper question: What becomes possible when people begin to live this way? Circling is often described as a form of meditation in relationship — a practice where people explore what is actually happening in their experience, moment by moment, together with others. One of the final principles of the practice invites participants to move even deeper: to be present not only to thoughts and emotions, but to the raw sensations of the body and the subtle signals of aliveness that move through us. In this episode, participants reflect on how this practice has changed the way they relate to themselves, to others, and to the world around them. Some describe the simple nervous-system shift that happens when they slow down enough to feel what is present. Others speak about rediscovering intuition, vitality, and the courage to express uncomfortable truths. Many point to something surprisingly simple: That when people are truly seen and met, something in them begins to relax, open, and come alive. Circling doesn’t offer quick solutions or techniques for fixing one another. Instead it invites a different orientation to life — one rooted in presence, curiosity, and the willingness to stay with what is actually happening. From that place, something deeper often begins to unfold. For many participants, the practice becomes less about learning a method and more about remembering something fundamental about being human: Our shared longing to be seen, heard, and loved. And perhaps also the discovery that when we meet one another honestly and without pretense, those longings are not as difficult to meet as we might think. This film series began with a simple question: What’s it like to be you right now? For me, the journey of exploring that question has only just begun. 00:00 – The Fourth Principle: Sensation and Embodiment 01:41 – Listening to the Body 02:29 – Trauma and Sensation 03:43 – The Challenge of Embodiment 04:28 – Returning to “Selka”: The Wild Energy of Life 05:29 – Unlearning Old Stories 06:05 – A Simple Doorway to Deeper Connection 07:03 – Remembering Who We Are 08:53 – Why People Practice Circling 10:48 – Meeting Life More Deeply 12:26 – Accessing Vitality and Aliveness 13:17 – Wu Wei: The Taoist Principle of Non-Forcing 14:06 – Communicating Beyond Right and Wrong 15:08 – Speaking Uncomfortable Truths 16:16 – Depth and Ease in Connection 18:01 – The Fifth Principle: Surrendering Into the Other’s World 19:03 – Exploring Another Person’s Experience 20:33 – Staying With Someone’s Inner World 22:37 – The Power of Being Seen 25:09 – Walking Each Other Home 26:02 – Presence as an Antidote to Control 28:49 – Practicing the Art of Being With 31:52 – What the Journey Changed in Me 33:00 – What I Hope People Take From This 36:05 – The Church of Humanity 37:27 – Love as a Healing Force 39:26 – Meditation in Relationship 40:54 – Relationships as Our Greatest Teachers 41:26 – A Final Invitation
