Spring Vlog: Planting Season Begins! | Farming Adventures in Southern Iowa! Spring has sprung and it's time to get in the field! We have a little over 100 acres of oats to plant in this video. We rent a drill from the local NRCS office to get it done but not without a little trouble along the way! We also get a delivery from Koch Agronomic Services! This year we will be trying out PROTIVATE this year - the hope being we can get our crops the critical nutrients required to promote early, uniform emergence and the flowability needed for all our planters.
