EPIC WEEK IN CHINA: HAINAN SURF COMP WITH BOYS

Join us for competition week in China! After some fun sessions free surfing and learning the new wave, the boys were ready to compete. Beginning with an epic opening ceremony for the event with everyone involved, the boys then rented some tuk tuks and motorbikes to better get around with and have some extra fun. Down at the contest site, everyone gets checked in for their heats, the first of which being Teddy versus Sinar in some clean conditions, making for a fun sparring match. Later we catch up with Shino Matsuda as she talks about her new favorite board from JS Industries and shares some of her experience in China. Then we have an exciting heat with Bronson and Pajar Ariyana putting on a show for us in their round of 32 heat. Followed by Varun versus Teddy in the next one, a "double Indomoment heat", to quote Sinar. Leading into the finals we have some epic matchups, including Bronson versus Ketut Agus and Hiroto Ohhara, and Varun versus Pajar. After the epic highlight reel from the action, Ketut breaks it all down for us post heat. Then in the quarter Finals we have Bronson competing for a Semi Final spot as well as Pajar, both making it to the Semi Finals the next day where they face off against eachother for a spot in the Final heat.
