K12 Online Public School 6th Grade Unboxing // What Are They Teaching In Virtual Middle School?

We are finally back with a K12 6th grade unboxing with the materials the online public school sends for its middle school students. There is quite a difference between the middle school materials and the elementary school. There are fewer hard copy materials, and that's something we are already having struggles with due to eye strain. So it will be an interesting year navigating that issue and the entirely confusing online middle school. But this is a great look at what our students in K12 learn in 6th grade. The program is very advanced. 6th graders at this point have already been introduced to algebra and geometry in 5th grade so this year continues that type of math. In English they begin studying certain Shakespeare works. Science for this grade is Earth Science which has been a decent course so far, but definitely needs a text or work book. We know a lot of parents out there are considering K12 due to the pandemic and state of the world so we are happy to show you guys what you get when you sign up with K12. We love the program overall, despite a few struggles. But no one type of school is perfect! We will be back Tuesday at 1 PM with another fun video and we also have one coming with easy ways to stay active while you do school (or work!) online from home. Thank you all for sticking around. Many of you know we've been dealing with some extra, and unexpected medical issues, so it hasn't been as easy for me to record and edit.
