Jharkhand Exit Poll Results 2024 LIVE Updates: Hemant Soren | Champai Soren | Congress | BJP As voting concludes in Jharkhand on Wednesday evening, voters have sealed the fate of political leaders in the EVMs across two phases of the Assembly elections, with the final phase held today. The JMM-Congress-RJD alliance is seeking re-election, facing anti-incumbency, while the BJP aims to return to power, leveraging corruption charges against Hemant Soren and its anti-infiltration narrative. The BJP is hoping to regain power on the back of a campaign powered by “Batenge Toh Katenge” and “Ek Hai Toh Safe Hai” slogans. The party has also relied on its “stop infiltration” promise to bring them to power. On the other hand, Hemant Soren is hoping to battle the anti-incumbency and return to power for a consecutive term. With the voting now complete, attention will turn to Exit Poll predictions. According to the Election Commission of India (ECI), no broadcaster or online news portal can publish Exit Poll results before 6:30 pm. The counting of votes will take place on November 23, Saturday. 528 candidates are contesting for the second phase of the Jharkhand Assembly Elections. These include Jharkhand CM and JMM leader Hemant Soren, his wife Kalpana Soren as well as BJP's leader of opposition Amar Kumar Bauri.
