How To Make A Rainbow Sherbet Cake | CHELSWEETS

Whether it's sherbet or sherbert to you, I think this flavor holds a special place in all of our hearts! To me, it's SHERBET! Rainbow sherbet was my favorite flavor as a kid, and is the inspiration for the flavor and design of this cake. This decoration is actually SUPER simple, and this recipe just builds on my classic American buttercream recipe, and my go-to vanilla layer cake recipe. To incorporate the flavors, I used freeze dried fruit, and the zest and juice of oranges and limes! I like to get my freeze-fried fruit at Whole Foods, and turn it into a powder using my food processor. Here's the link to the freeze-dried raspberries I used for in this cake!
