It is lighter than the one used in the previous version and offers 80 kW of additional power. The entry-level Taycan is powered only by the rear motor, while the rest of the trims come with a dual-motor setup. Four powertrain options are available on the 2025 Taycan, each rated for different power outputs. The entry-level Taycan sedan produces the same 402 horsepower as the previous iteration. However, dual-motor versions see a slight bump in their respective power outputs. The 60 mph times for each model have also decreased with this update. The Turbo S sedan can now sprint to 60 mph in 2.3 seconds, 0.3 seconds faster than before, making it the quickest production car made by Porsche yet.
