Hello everyone, welcome to SA Today on 31 October 2025. We begin today's video with flooded roads after heavy rain in the Blyde River in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. More rain at Bothaville and Vereeniging today. Elephants at Mabula near Bela Bela in Limpopo Province. A big herd of elephants is in a dam in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. We walk around the SuperSpar in Tzaneen, Limpopo. We attended the fun day out at Edenvale Bowling Club. The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected over central and northeastern South Africa, particularly in the Free State Province. A cold front is bringing cooler, light showers to the southwest. Ahead of the cold front, fresh to strong north-westerly winds are causing hot weather in the southern regions. The South African Weather Service has issued impact-based warnings. A Yellow Level 4 warning for the Free State indicates severe thunderstorms that may lead to flooding and includes threats of small hail, strong winds, heavy downpours, and excessive lightning. A Yellow Level 2 warning is also in effect for North West, central and southern Gauteng, eastern Northern Cape and Free State Province, and the Eastern Cape, warning of severe thunderstorms and localized flooding. Additionally, a Yellow Level 1 warning for southern KwaZulu-Natal alerts residents of potential localized flooding, small hail, and heavy rains. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in the central and western Eastern Cape Province, as well as parts of Northern Cape Province and Western Cape Province.
