Second track of the Misfits week for Freakshow Fiasco: https://inverno.miraheze.org/wiki/Fre... After the events of Oswald's Week, King V senses an unusual presence that has suddenly lurked into his game. Tracking down the "source" of this entity revealed to him an unusual sight, something that was human but was taken over by some sort of infection. The entity itself was more distraught and ravenous in nature, barely even feeling like an actual person. But this entity did have enough mental strength to do the one thing it is capable of: Rap Battling someone who is clearly more powerful than him. Daich made the visualizer, as well as helping with the latter half of the song. He also made Asclepius' chromatic: / @daichreal Mysterijojo made the thumbnail and logo artwork, as well as the icons for King V, Corrupted BF, and Pico: https://bsky.app/profile/mysterijojo.... LakotaCola made the icon for Asclepius: https://bsky.app/profile/lakotacola.b... @revolutionarypie made the Heavy scale. The game is developed by a small group called The Funkin' Crew Inc., which consists primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source. It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s. The game revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of opponents in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay involves hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song. The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam on October 5, 2020. An expanded demo was released on November 1, 2020, with updates continually released in the following months. A full version of the game backed by Kickstarter, titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game, is in development. Team Fortress 2 (TF2) is a multiplayer first-person shooter game developed and published by Valve Corporation in 2007. It is the sequel to the 1996 Team Fortress mod for Quake and its 1999 remake, Team Fortress Classic. It was released in October 2007 as part of The Orange Box for Microsoft Windows and the Xbox 360, and was ported to the PlayStation 3 in December 2007. It was released as a standalone game for Windows in April 2008, and updated to support macOS in June 2010 and Linux in February 2013. It was made free-to-play in June 2011, and is distributed online through Valve's digital retailer, Steam. Players join one of two teams—RED and BLU—and choose one of nine character classes to play as in game modes such as capture the flag and king of the hill. Its development was led by John Cook and Robin Walker, the developers of the original Team Fortress mod. Friday Night Funkin': Corruption, also known simply as Corruption or alternatively as Evil Mod, is a Friday Night Funkin' mod created by Phantom Fear. Inspired by the Christmas tree decoration in Week 5's Winter Horrorland of the original game, the mod imagines a disease outbreak that turns the infected into dark, shadowy monsters. Updates on the mod's ongoing development are released as a video series on YouTube; as of June 2024, the series spans 29 episodes. Currently, three playable demos have been released for the mod: the Spooky Kids Demo that covers Week 2, the Senpai Demo that covers Week 4, and the Null Demo that covers Week 9.
