Skiers get STUCK due to extreme winds at MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN: Caught on Gopro! *WARNING*

This is me and my dad riding chair 23 at Mammoth Mountain. We took a left and made are way to Cornice Bowl, which is a black diamond I believe. The wind blew away most of the good snow, so there were a lot of little rocks poking out in the area I went to once I dropped in. I was shocked at how fast the winds picked up. The reason I turn around is because the snow was smacking my cheeks and it hurt like crazy. I actually had two types of face masks on; however, I had a little bit of skin still exposed. Its important to be covered up in high winds. My dad was unfazed, partially because he is a beast, but he was also covered up fully (I think), and he committed to run right away! It is crazy how fast conditions can change when you start to increase altitude ! It's important to note, all mountains are susceptible to wind gusts. My dad and I knew it was windy, but we had no idea how bad it was about to get.
