Cenote Angelita is one of the most popular on the Yucatan Peninsula due to the hydrogen sulfide gas cloud, that divers nickname the 'underwater river'. As you descend into the 5m thick gas cloud, you can smell the distinct aroma of eggs given off my the sulfur - if you get the chance this dive is a MUST!! This was the third of 4 Cenotes we had the chance to dive, before spending the rest of our time diving with the Bull Sharks at Playacar.
