I decided to visit my favorite local greenhouse called Graye's Greenhouse in Plymouth, MI. It's one of the oldest nurseries in Michigan specializing in succulents primarily, but with a sprinkling of tropical plants throughout like begonias and geraniums, and occupied with monster sized mother plants that give the feel of a conservatory. They do almost all of their own propagating and seed starting and I look forward to visiting again in the spring to see what sorts of native plants they will have! I include as many scientific names for any plants I pause over, to help you learn what plants are catching your eye!
