I went VIRAL in 2013 for my acne makeup video…now, at 35, I’m watching it back, comparing my face, my skin, and my makeup routine! 😳✨ 12 years later, my skin has changed, my approach to makeup has evolved, and I have a lot of thoughts! In this video, I’m reacting to my viral acne coverage tutorial (the video that essentially launched my career! WILD!) comparing how my acne-prone skin looked then vs. now, and showing how I do my everyday makeup in my mid-30s—without the heavy layering I used back in the day! 💡 And just to be clear: I have had NO Botox, NO fillers, NO facelifts, and NO laser treatments. I've been consistent with skincare and the very odd facial, but that's it! Before the pandemic I had five rounds of micro needling which slightly helped hyperpigmentation but didn't get rid of acne scars...I'd need several more sessions for that and to be honest I hate the downtime after each session and how crusty my face gets so I've not gone back to it!
