Wonton Veggie Cups | Holiday Time Snacks | Corn And Cheese Filled Wonton Cups | Easy Holiday Appetizer For the filling: 2 cups fresh corn cut from cob (microwave 1 minute) ½ cup onions chopped fine ½ cup red bell pepper chopped fine ½ tsp crushed red pepper 2 tbsp jalapeno chopped fine (add more or reduce as per your taste) ½ tsp black pepper powder Salt as per taste Few chopped coriander leaves 1 ½ cups softened cream cheese 1 cup shredded cheese of your choice + ¾ cup for the topping (i'm using mexican blend cheese) For the cups: Wonton wrappers Muffin tray for baking ¼ cup melted unsalted butter for greasing the tray Mix all the filling ingredients and adjust the seasonings. Prepare the muffin tray by brushing with melted butter. Place the wonton wrappers like cups in the tray pressing all sides. Fill with the corn and cream cheese mixture generously. Top with the remaining cheese as much as you like. Bake in a preheated oven at 325° F (163° C) for 15 minutes. Serve warm as appetizers/snacks.
