Meanwhile, I decided to jump on the Ranunculus band wagon and join the many compatriots who are knitting up a storm with this amazing pattern. Since this initial video and making of a Ranunculus I have knit it up at least 7 times. I love working the various stitches. Knitting the yoke seems to go so quickly. After mastering the stitches I have used them in various ways in other patterns. For example, I use one of the stitches as an ending on the bottom of tops and knitted sweaters. It is the … purl one, slip one… next row, knit all stitches. I’ve use this pattern for 5-6 rows at the bottom of a sweater. It gives a neat edging without doing the k1, p1. We can learn a lot from knitting the Ranunculus. Happy knitting! Oh, did I mention that I’m a retired counsellor. My career/profession was full time counselling.
