The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through the Denton program, delivered a humanitarian assistance shipment to St. Kitts and Nevis. Community Bikes, a not-for-profit organization based in Hamilton, New York, donated the shipment which consists of a range of items, including bicycles and helmets for use by the St. Kitts Ministry of Youth’s “Cycle through Success” program. This program provides access to bicycles as an incentive for at-risk youth to meet specific goals in areas that include academic achievement, personal responsibility, anger management, and conflict resolution.
