As part of preparing my KTM 790 Adventure for touring, my first consideration had to luggage. I had used the SW-Motech Pro side carriers on my Triumph Tiger 800 and had been impressed by the build quality and flexibility in use. It, therefore, made sense to go with SW-Motech again, especially as the kit for the 790 adventure looked just as, if not easier to fit. There are arguments for both Soft and hard luggage, but having already invested in the Kriega OS soft panniers it made sense to refit those. However such is the nature of these side carriers, I can fit a large number of other manufacturers' panniers by just purchasing alternative fitting kits.
