Perhaps we should have called this one warbling bats, biting midges and wet bottoms! That’s a good way to sum up our recent evening in Wales. Will the bats successfully negotiate the cage which protects their roost access? You’ll have to watch to find out. Round and round they go – where they come out, nobody knows. Hidden behind our buffs, we watched with delight as these fantastic lesser horseshoe bats whirled around outside their roost.
