We also see other ESA members, both Astronauts and Instructors, during the footage, in particular astronaut Matthias Maurer and astronaut Alexander Gerst. Sławosz Uznański was selected in November 2022 as a member of the ESA astronaut reserve after a year-long selection process. The Polish astronaut is currently following a training programme to live and work in space, and meet the high standards required for human space flight.
