As part of a birthday upload (as of June 10th UK time). This video was also made before any Mario Kart 8 DLC/Amiibo updates. In other words a Captain Falcon replica is much easier/accurate than the one you see here. This is an All Cup Tour run of Mario Kart 8 with a little twist. All of the items are Mushrooms or Coins, nothing else. It completely changes the playstyle compared to a traditional All Cup Tour. I also changed the course selection from Random to In Order to possibly reduce the load times (this is UNCONFIRMED). For the vehicle parts I used: Body: Circuit Special. Wheels: Slim Glider: Cloud Circuit Special is one of the few body types that gives you the highest bonus in speed. Slim wheels gives you a few bonus points in speed but also handling. Cloud falls under the light glider category where you sacrifice weight for acceleration. Technically you can go for Slick wheels rather than Slim to give you more speed but I find the turning a bit less reliable in some of the courses. In other words: The speed stat I used for this run is 5.50 but if I used Slick, it would be 5.75. I used a Large Mii as it falls under the Heavy Weight group where you get the biggest boost in Weight and more importantly Speed. The Mii is Captain Falcon to pay tribute to another Nintendo racing franchise : F-Zero. The Circuit Special is also Blue if you use a Blue Mii, a pretty good fit for Captain Falcon. Unfortunately Nintendo forgot to add an in-game timer during races so this has to be timed manually. I start the timer when it says GO in the first race and stop the timer when it says FINISH in the final race. Is the run improvable? Yes it is by a reasonable margin. Some of the courses were sloppy than others including DS Wario Stadium, Mount Wario, Wii Moo Moo Meadows, GBA Mario Circuit and a few others. There's a few shortcuts I didn't go for including DS Tick Tock Clock and Wii Grumble Volcano as it requires precise driving. Another possible improvement is to try it on a higher difficulty as I could be second at a few points in order to quickly pickup a Triple Mushroom power up. Pros No bad luck from the opponents slowing you down Obviously faster than traditional All Cup Tour Cons Higher room of improvement based on execution This includes power slide turns and performing tougher shortcuts.
