Our partnership with Slow Food is one of the most elemental parts of Essential Haircare. Incorporating presidia ingredients from farms in Italy allows us to celebrate and spotlight biodiversity, even if the press has whittled this important conversation down to “farm to shower”. As with everything, we endeavor to expand definitions of beauty. And to do just that, we’re thrilled to announce a new collaborative documentary video series with Slow Food called In Good Hands. The series will share stories of Slow Food presidia farmers who are working to sustain biodiversity in their own way. Episode 1 takes us to Vermont to meet the artisanal and award-winning raw milk cheesemakers at Jasper Hill Farm. Enjoy!
