Making Atlas Machines Affordable Again: Part 9, Milling Machine Draw Bar M1-576

This is part 9 in this series of making Atlas machines affordable again. The Milling machine draw bar is the focus of todays video and I am building a draw bar based on atlas prints for the part, but we also explore a couple of different ways that it can be made in your own shop. Atlas originally offered these machines aimed at the home shop and were a low cost alternative that fit in the shop or garage of the average hobbyist. Now they have become a machine that is being parted out on some sites with prices of used parts as well as new reproduction parts in many instances being many times more than their actual value. This is my attempt to show how many of these parts can be built by the average hobbyist as well as offer many at a reasonable cost so these machines can continue to be enjoyed by the hobby machinist.
