Build surface adhesion is a challenge for many people new to 3d printing. Even if you properly level your build plate your prints may not properly stick to the build plate on your 3d printer. I recently reviewed the new Creality Ender 3 V2 and believe it is an excellent 3d printer however I am not impressed with the new Creality Glass Build Plate. In this video, I evaluate options for enhancing your 3d print adhesion by either using a 3d Printer Adhesive or by replacing the build plate with another material. This video applies to the FDM printers from Creality, Monoprice, Prusa, Anet, and most filament-based 3d printers. The video covers the following: 00:00 Introduction 01:47 BLTouch 02:47 Ender 3 V2 Surface 03:47 Prusa i3 MK3 Surface 06:11 Layer Lock Surface 07:21 Ender 3 V2 Issues 09:19 Printing on Glass 10:12 BuildTak Surface 11:56 Removing Stuck Prints 12:55 Comparisons In the video I use the following 3d model for testing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:459...
