In this 9th episode of my "Old Music is Newly Retrofitted" series, here's a mini-resync that I wanted to create to see how KATU and WSAV would be like if they were to continue to use the "K2 News" package that FirstCom composed and arranged for KATU's K2 News back in 2007. This package that was created by FirstCom, and as well with their works haven't really surfaced much into the wild in general, and I feel with myself hearing FirstCom's musical related works that they did for some station clients back in the day, this pack right here named "K2 News" was a good old favorite of mine that I wanted to make a resync out of. I've also wondered if this package would still work on KATU and WSAV, as they were the two of the three clients in all who have used this package. KATU was the first to commission this in 2007 and to stop using the package in 2014, and while for WSAV, they've picked it up in 2013 and only held up using it until 2014. Recorded on Monday, 2/19/2024.
