MMA vs Traditional Martial Arts- A post in the "Martial Arts Nerds" Facebook group claims that naive people do not know "the distinct difference" between MMA and Traditional Martial Arts. According to the original post, Mixed Martial Arts is a sport that only teaches one to fight in the ring, whereas Traditional Martial Arts teach someone for survival and self-defense. Instead of posting a comment in the Facebook thread, I decided to post my thoughts on video. This video has been edited down from the full 20:00 version where I got on a few tangents. One of the topics that I reluctantly removed was a talk on why the focus ought to be placed more on self development.
