Hi There! I'm Tammy Salamone and this is number 11 in my new set of videos called, Breast Cancer Advice From A Patient. Steroids are annoying but play an important part in keeping us from getting ill during chemo. All the medications given to us play a role and here I briefly discuss what they do. #breastcancer, #steroids #antinauseameds I learned a lot going through my treatments and surgeries and it's information that I feel needs to be shared and will be helpful. I was diagnosed in early 2017 and had a double mastectomy in May that same year followed by 12 weeks of chemo (taxol) and a year of Herceptin. It was one of the worst times of my life. I never thought I would come out of the depression I was experiencing and certainly didn't think I would be helping others afterwards.
