Whang-Od Oggay is the oldest living Kalinga tattoo artist in the world. Living in the village of Buscalan, deep in the hills of the Cordillera mountain ranges and rice terraces of the Philippines, she is visited by hundreds of people every day to get her signature three dot tattoo. When I finally met her after waiting for FIVE HOURS, what she said to me completely surprised me (and made me cry!)
