https://www.rdtrust.org/ It’s one of the world’s most famous Gardens, located in the heart of Edinburgh and dramatically framed by the city’s iconic castle. The past 150 years, West Princes Street Gardens has been enjoyed by Edinburgh’s residents and its visitors. But parts of the Gardens are now desperately in need of some TLC Edinburgh’s famous Ross Bandstand is deteriorating and unsuited to the demands of today’s events, whilst the nearby Ross Fountain, a monument of great beauty, doesn’t work and hasn’t since 2010. Well the good news is that we here at the Ross Development Trust are doing something about it. We’ve raised more than 5 million pounds of a 25-million-pound target to restore the fountain and build a new, fit for purpose pavilion on the bandstand site. And we’re out the blocks with work underway on both these projects. But to sustain this progress and achieve the goal of reinvigorating our city’s much-loved Gardens, we need support. You can donate online at our website, https://www.rdtrust.org/get-involved/..., where you can also register to volunteer with the Trust, speak with our team about starting a fundraising effort, making a pledge or buying into one of the many sponsorship opportunities we’ve created. They’re your Gardens. So, join us and get involved. https://www.rdtrust.org/get-involved/ To create a unique, internationally recognisable venue for all to enjoy, in an attractive and reanimated West Princes Street Gardens, as a year round, socially inclusive centre promoting a diversity of cultural activities.
