New York Spring Ephemeral Wildflower Identification

This is a quick little look at a few of the spring wildflowers growing in NY forests in early May. This forest is mostly sugar maple, with a few red oak, basswood, and black cherry mixed throughout. We look at spring beauties, Claytonia caroliniana, trout lilies, Erythronium americanum, Hepatica, and violets, Viola. These are all some easy wildflowers to identify, but they don't stick around for too long.
