Dave & Buster's @ Crossgates Mall (Albany NY), 4K arcade walkthrough & tour, November 2024

The Crossgates Mall in New York's state capital, Albany, has no shortage of places to play arcade games. Not counting the ever-present Kiddleton mini cranes that are in seemingly every hallway, by my estimation, there's at least seven different storefronts that feature arcade games of one variety or another. That includes the recently-opened Arcade House (see my previous video walkthrough), a Regal Cinemas with a large number of games, Space Adventure Mini Golf which doesn't have much but I still count it, Apex Entertainment which has bowling in addition to arcade games, and a pair of kid-targeted attractions up on the third floor in the form of Billy Beez and Get Air Trampoline Park. But the most obvious one of all of them is the gigantic Dave & Buster's location on the ground floor. Originally opening in 2013, this spot has been around now for over a decade -- and it kind of shows with some of the games that are still in its lineup. One of the crane machines still proudly sports the classic D&B circle logo, while other games that have been retired elsewhere still live on, such as Super Trivia TV, the redemption version of Frogger, and Press Your Luck. But there's still a large amount of newer games as well, including the brand new Godzilla Kaiju Wars standalone VR game.
