According to residents, the child was discovered with severe facial injuries, including wounds on the forehead and a deep cut on the cheek, prompting immediate medical attention. He has been admitted to Goa Medical College (GMC), Bambolim, where doctors are performing multiple surgeries to treat his injuries. The complaint further alleges the existence of a child trafficking racket involving an agent from Karnataka, who is suspected of illegally selling infants for lakhs of rupees. Locals have urged the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation into the racket and ensure justice for the child.
