Final Boss” until I feel people have played Rainbow Curse already and have found out about the identity of said boss on their own. In the same vein, please avoid Kirby and the Rainbow Curse spoilers in the comments (even though Kirby games don’t have much to spoil, lol). Thanks! :) So this theme was an incredibly impulsive track to mix on my part. For one, I haven’t even played the game yet, and I started the remix literally the day of the soundtrack leaking onto the Internet. I was just sort of all, “What is this beautiful piece of music?” and I felt in a Kirby mood, so now you have this. It was a lot of fun to do—it really was—I had to decide whether to stick a bit closer to the originals tempo or do something radical, and I ended up doing the tempo thing so I wouldn’t have to change anything TOO drastically in at least one sense. I mean sure, the genre is new, but at least you could listen to the chorus of this remix and be all, “Oh yeah, cool, this theme”. The rest of the mix is still just as liberal as anything else I would ever make, though. I tried to establish an original melody motif throughout, but I only used it like four times maybe so I’m not sure if it counts for anything, ha. The DnB section was a spur-of-the-moment, getting-bored-of-four-on-the-floor, let’s-try-something-weird kinda thing. Indeed I suppose it’s a rather odd section but it’s probably a good distraction from the constant aggression. If you notice, I also emulated the instrument choice used in the original song during the chorus for the lead melody—I thought it was a pretty sound. :3 Though, I didn’t emulate it perfectly but it’s not a big deal. Overall relatively content with this one, so that’s cool! Also, can I just say quickly that the soundtrack as a whole for this game is incredible? It's mostly remixes, but dang are they GOOD remixes. There are three references in this remix as well, two from Kirby and one from Pokemon. Happy reference hunting, and enjoy the mix! :D ——————————————————— / electricmudkip
