GM Accessories Power Tonneau Cover Installation Video (no sound). WARNING: 12V power must be disconnected prior to working with wires and is NOT SHOWN in video. NOTICE: Adding shims to keep put nut fully seated and position rails inboard to verify switch contact is NOT SHOWN. See GMC Accessories installation instructions for more detail. NOTICE: The tonneau cover should make 2 complete cycles when opening and closing, then stop. If the tonneau cover stops 4" from the tailgate during calibration, do not try to recalibrate. Climb into the bed and push the release button and manually open the tonneau. The rear switches are not making contact so you will need to loosen the upper rail bolt to position the upper rail inboard. If that same calibration issue occurs, then add shims to position the lower rail inboard. See GMC Accessories installation instructions for more detail. Other troubleshooting tips: 1. Anytime power is disconnected. Recalibration is required. 2. The vehicle passenger locks must be unlocked for the cover to operate. 3. Verify the manual release button is completely pulled out. 4. Dust, debris or ice on tracks must be removed. 5. Check all connections are fully engaged and no wires are being pinched by the canister. 6. Check fuse has not blown. Calibration procedure: 1. Unlock the vehicle and open endgate. 2. Press and hold both buttons for 10 seconds. 3. Release buttons with the LED light on the motor shroud flashes and the cover completes 2 full cycles.
