Modern Arnis JOT 10: Finger Lock Trading Drill

Our Modern Arnis JOT today is a simple drill you can use at the end of a warmup and to develop sensitivity and control for finger locks. Just One Thing (JOT) here is the Finger Lock Trading Drill (or Finger Lock Drill), in which you take turns executing finger hyper extension locks (nicely! and don't forget to tap!), with all fingers and thumbs as possible targets. Hook the digit, control the back of the hand, and use pressure towards their forearm and down and away from their center to accomplish the lock. Rinse and repeat. It's a fun but easy drill you can practice at almost any level. At advanced levels, you can ramp it up by making it less compliant and more adversarial, but as always, be careful.
