BlackSeaRC presents a fully detailed review of the brand new Rastar Ferrari 499P LMH Le Mans Hypercar 1:14 scale radio-controlled (RC) car. This video includes: Look at the real car that inspired this RC scale model, including interesting development history and technical data Packaging and unboxing Close-up look at the car, additional DIY decals and RC handset Powering up Functional testing (throttle, steering, LED lighting) Performance testing Overview summary Alternative products This product (part no. 10110) is a Ready-To-Run (RTR) RC car. All you need to provide are 5x 'AA' batteries for the car and a further 2x 'AA' type batteries for the RC handset. This is a scale-realistic model with fully detailed exterior and interior. It is an officially licensed model by Ferrari, so it carries all the correct OEM logos, badges, sponsor logos and graphics. However, to complete the racing livery, you need to fit 44 additional decals. The doors can be opened and closed manually so that the detailed interior can be better seen. This model is manufactured from injection-moulded plastic parts ensuring a high quality of fit and finish. It can be used as a realistic static display model when it is not being driven. This model features rear-wheel drive and front LED lighting. It is controlled by a basic 2.4GHz RC handset with push buttons. Additionally, there is a button that allows the user to select a "low speed" or "high speed" driving mode. The throttle and steering controls are non-proportional. An alternative variant of this car (Rastar part no. 10116) is available that includes a rechargeable battery pack and USB charger instead of "AA" batteries. However, it is more expensive than the version reviewed in this video. I purchased my Ferrari 499P here: https://www.detmir.ru/product/index/i... One of their most recent success stories is the 499P. The Scuderia Ferrari 499P is a sports prototype race car, purpose built to compete in the Le Mans Hypercar (LMH) category of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). It was introduced to mark 50 years since Ferrari last entered a factory team in the sports prototype category and competed for an overall win in the Le Mans 24 Hours race. In tribute, one of the two cars carried the race number 50. The sister car uses the number 51. The 499P made its racing debut at the first round of the 2023 season and continued to race in the 2024 and 2025 seasons. The number 50 car is driven by Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina and Nicklas Nielsen. The number 51 car is driven by James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi and Alessandro Pier Guidi. The 499P won the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans (No.51 car) and also again in 2024 (No.50 car). The 499P uses a carbon fibre monocoque chassis with rear mid-engine layout. It is fitted with a 3-litre V6 twin turbo-charged engine plus a 200kW electric motor and 900V battery pack. A 7-speed sequential manual transmission provides drive to the rear wheels. The electric motor is connected to the front wheels providing all-wheel drive. The combined maximum power output is 671bhp (500kW) in accordance with WEC Hypercar regulations.
