#SRKGreenway #SRK #Sunapee #Hiking #HikingNH Born in the 1980s, the Sunapee Ragged Kearsarge (SRK) Greenway is a trail that takes you thru 10 NH towns: Andover, Danbury, Goshen, Newbury, New London, Springfield, Sunapee, Sutton, Warner and Wilmot. This Greenway loop consists of 14 separate hiking sections that cover 75 miles of trail; over mountains, thru forests, beside ponds and lakes, and share snowmobile trails and logging roads. It also links up with the Monadnock Sunapee Greenway Trail, a 48-mile trail that connects Mount Monadnock to Mount Sunapee. You can hike the latter with overnights and there are shelters along the way, but the SRK Greenway is day hikes only, overnights not permitted. We hiked the Sunapee Ragged Kearsarge Greenway trail over the winter of 2021-2022 as a nice rehab hike. IG: journey_of_hours
