A group of the old 3d/2d cards from back in the day (1997), these cards were quite a step up from the embrionic offerings of the Nvidia NV1, 3d Blaster VLB and 3d Blaster PCI, This was when 3d/2d started to get real on the PC. Thinking about it I should of included the Voodoo Rush, I will have to do another vid. Shout out to the Rage XL, best one for the money these days even though it came out later on, I included it as it shows what the Rage family was capable of with a clock boost and it stands in for the Intel 740i that wouldn't work on the motherboard, picky begger the 740i ! Please note the Riva 128 has Vsync that you can not turn off so it can't realy show it's best performance, I think it is the fastest of the bunch, the ATIs also have a bit of syncing which makes getting a measure of performance difficult. The ATIs impressed as they seemed realy pants back in the day with the slow cpus but don't seem so bad now, good compatibilty and image quality. The Renditon Verite drivers are good too ! Any banding in the videos is just problems with the digitiser.
