A montage of some of the chanties performed during work or pseudo-work activities, during the 36th Annual Mystic Seaport Sea Music Festival (2015). The demonstrations, which allow public participation, occurred on the two vessels Charles W. Morgan and Joseph Conrad. The chanties in all the cases here were led either by regular Seaport staff or by scheduled Festival performers. First are halyard demos. 1. “Pull Down Below” is led Celine Robertson of the high school group, The Chanteens.
